Hi can anyone please advise me, I have two Tetrapanax Papyrifer this is their 3rd Summer, I have noticed that 5 more have spread up around the two main plants. They are about 12” in height is it possible to dig them up and pot them on, if so when is the best time to do this.
Thank you.

Yes you can dig them up and pot on. I did 1 a couple of months back though I just planted it where I wanted it and it's doing brill.

Thanks Wilderbeast, do you think I should leave them until the Autumn, I don’t want to damage them. I live in Lancashire but I do have a greenhouse so I could protect them until they get stronger, please can you advise me. Thank you

@diane55 I'm not an expert with the trex but I moved mine in the middle of a very hot week and had to hastily rig up some shade and water it well but it's grown on really well. If you want to pot it up I'd do it early September and stick it in the greenhouse. They are very hardy and came through a terribly cold Spring in Yorkshire

Given how readily they sucker, it always amazes me how expensive they are to buy
    Devon.

I didn’t realise they would sucker, we said about the cost really quite expensive. I certainly don’t want anymore in the garden so I will end up giving them away. That is if I am successful in potting them on
