But my order has sat in dispatch for weeks, so I really don’t see why I wasn’t allowed to cancel.
    Have a look at this:

    I hope it helps @LesleyH.
It's a real shame for you; other people seem to've had a better experience of the firm, but that obviously doesn't help your situation! I hope you get some resolution soon

I'm not disputing that they screwed up, I'm just saying that we are now interesting times and a lot of companies' systems are failing. Ask to speak to a manager at Woolmans and see if you can cancel. If the plants haven't been dispatched, you are within rights to cancel your purchase.

Half the country seems in meltdown and in isolation again.

Sarah from Woolmans contacted me after I commented on their FB page. A refund has been offered. She states that the parcel was with the courier so, even though it was still very overdue anyway, the courier has made this even worse. Thank you all. X
  • Glad they acted on it...but sounds like it took far too much effort from your end.

    Good outcome!
If the plants are really with the courier, then they should turn up at some point unless they're lost (I don't think they can be recalled, or not easily).
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
