lawn mower recommendation

We have a largish garden with lawn area around 120ft long and 40 feet wide. I currently have bosch rotak 34 mower. It takes a while to mow. Main time consuming thing is the emptying of grass box so many times.

Which lawn mower would you recommend, I am mainly looking for electric corded one with big grass box but still not too difficult to turn around.

120 feet needs a very long lead.
I'd go to a dealer who sells second hand petrol mowers.

In the Which review of lawnmowers the top placed corded one is in 22nd position out of 31, and it is the Bosch Rotak model which does not take you further forward.

I would widen the search to include petrol and battery powered models.

Yes I use an extension lead. I have summer house with power supply at the other end of garden. So I mow half from connection from patio and then half from connection from summer house.

I am a bit scared of storing and handling petrol.

I am trying to get a wider cutting width and bigger grass box model. Cable is not an issue.

The obvious solution would be a rotak 40 model, bigger blade and grassbox which will do the job faster. There are cable and battery versions available.

We used to have quarter acre back plus front lawn.2 mountfields unfortunately don't know the models. I used to have several extension leads which was flaming dangerous. My neighbours and mother in law both have battery operated and they are useless. I now have about 100 foot of grass,a Bosch electric, not anywhere near as well made as they last one, German technology but made in China, and a qualcast hand push mower.

The longer the lead means less power to the motor which will cause premature burn out petrol or battery power is best
