hose end sprayer/fertiliser for vegetables?

Does anyone use one of these for tomatoes and vegetable plants? Presumably I'd have to buy granular/soluble tomato food... but then how much to use? It's taking me a very long time to feed all my vegetable plants using a watering can... I am wondering if there is a reason not to do this, as you'd think, if it were a thing, they'd try and con us out of our money by marketing a separate special tomato one.

I did have one years ago and it leaked really badly, so did the replacement, but I only used it for miracle grow and it was a different design to the one on Amazon now.
I also found that at the start of feeding the spray was very blue and got much lighter after a while, so not sure how accurate they are.
I don't know if it's suitable for a liquid feed either.
