Yes it’s normal ,mine often comes again .Depends on the weather and how well it’s fed.You are clearly doing a good job. I have another one ,a burgundy colour which does the same ,it’s name escapes me .
Yes - alpinas have a 2nd flush of flowers. Most of the smaller flowered, early clems do. You can give them a little food after the first flush to encourage it, but alpinas generally like poorer, drier conditions than the large flowering varieties  Where you're located often has an effect though. We don't tend to get many flowers in a 2nd flush here.Â

Hi, so this flowered late March/early April… I’m really surprised… but it’s started flowering again?! I thought when I read before buying one, they were early flowerers? Is this normal? Thanks! 🤩
