Plant ID please

Afternoon 

This has popped up alongside my newly planted Filidenpula. Any ideas?

    It looks like some sort of Persicaria

    Some are cultivated varieties and I'm going to get some for my garden.
    If no one here can ID it, if you post a pic when in flowers someone should be able to advise if it's one of the weed-types or one of the cultivated varieties
