Newish gardeners and absolute Rose beginners. Mrs got this Rose from Tesco, it was labelled "indoor Rose" and is planted in one of our sunny borders between a Portuguese Cone Laurel and hylotelephium spectabile stardust.

Would appreciate more info on this rose and how to look after & prune. Thanks in advance.

Roses aren't indoor plant but supermarkets sell them in pots to give as presents as houseplants. They are often patio roses for planting in bigger pots on your patio, smaller than the sort of rose you normally plant in the garden. Other than that I'm afraid I don't know what your rose is or if it is a patio rose. But it does look a bit overcrowded where you have planted it.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I know @Busy-Lizzie Mrs has taken a liking to Roses and nips one in when my back is turned. That particular border is earmarked for a makeover anyway as both the Laurel and the hylotelephium will be moved.

Don’t know the name but it’s too lanky and skinny to be a garden bed rose. That needs to be in a pot .Cut it down when the flowers fade and pot it up ,you’ll get more blooms but a smaller less lanky plant

Hi - I think it has gone lanky and tall as it is reaching for the sun past the plants around it. Other tips - as well as sun, roses need a lot of feeding and water.
