Well I never.....

I took this picture yesterday afternoon, underneath one of my plants were all of these little Harlequin beetles. And when you look closely at the eggs, they look like the box tree moth. I could be wrong as I am certainly know expert. I was just amazed at how the photo came out.

    Dear Gardeners, Just to let you know that they are actually Brown Marmorated Stink Bugs, and the RHS say they are a pest in our gardens. They attack our fruits and vegetables.

    The eggs have all got a logo. Definitely designer eggs.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    I'm not convinced they are but it can be very hard to tell with 1st instar bug nymphs. Have a look at these for example https://www.britishbugs.org.uk/heteroptera/Pentatomidae/palomena_prasina.html

    I know nothing about the bugs....but fabulous photograph!
