    I think that is a weed,  I call it Ladies Smock, don’t know the Latin name. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    It’s a very short plant and doesn’t bloom for long so I wouldn’t put it behind the bins, front of the border is best.

  • I have such a small garden that the front of the border is premium. So it may not rate it. Valerie

    Cardamine pratensis. Cuckoo flower and Ladies' Smock are the main two common names. Great for bees. 
    I love it and grow it in front of other planting in a shadier bed.  Gorgeous in the wild, covering verges in late spring, although mine has only just finished flowering in the last few days. It was slightly later than usual this year. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
