Hi peeps ive been growing a raspberry plant, ive never grown any fruit so any help would be great. its shot up over the last month with the original growth with raspberry's behind the tall new growth. Is there anything i need to do or just leave it.

I’ve got this plant. It flowers and produces fruit on growth made this year so your new stems will hopefully flower. You cut those old stems away in the winter.

It’s hard to tell but is it growing in a wooden trough? It throws out underground runners which will be next years stems and it looks as if it’s area might be too small.
