Bug ID please, is this a type of pollen beetle?

I do get the usual type of pollen beetles on roses, but these are a little bigger, pointy-tailed and rather evil looking! In saying that, they don’t appear to be doing any damage to leaves or buds, just munching pollen. Any ideas please?

    Possibly a tumbling flower beetle

This is a fantastic website with more information about beetles than most people will ever need.

Brilliant, thanks @pansyface, what an excellent site. They do indeed jump and tumble about like inept acrobats when disturbed. They are a mild visual irritant that spoil the look of pale roses, but I can live with that. Just have to remember to shake before I sniff! Not that snorting beetles is a crime but an activity I would rather avoid nonetheless 😊
