What is this grass

This has popped up in my garden, some sort of grass.

    Carex pendula.  An invasive weed to many gardeners.  I would get rid of it.  If you like it you could cut off the flower heads before it drops it’s seeds.

    I would get rid of it asap! These things will spread and spread, andyou will forever be dealing with its seedlings far and wide if it gets a chance.
