I have Elsie Hugh and Party Girl and neither are looking very up for it at the moment - anyone else grow sidalcea?  And if so - how are yours doing this year?

I had Party Girl once and it never looked up or it. Sorry to say it died!

Mine are about to flower. I've forgotten which one I have left, a bright pink one which seeds about alot.  The others, paler colours disappeared.  I assume they prefer a dryer soil by the way they seed in the block paving.

  • I have a soft pink one, flower buds have just started to appear. Bought it as a decent size plant at least five years ago, it's maybe doubled in size and flowers really well but needs support as it gets a bit floppy - this is a photo from a couple of years ago.
