plant identifying

can anyone identify this plant? Purchased last year, ( didn’t keep the label!) but it only came up this year. I think it is a perennial. Many thanks to anyone who can help.

Mine always need to be staked,  or is that just mine😀
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

  • I had no idea how it would grow like it has but yes mine is trailing all over the garden path. I have checked it out and it can be divided  so next year, hopefully I shall have more but in a better position. thank you all
