How do I take cuttings?

    You will need to be more specific, what do you mean by blue thistle, there are many different species.
    Some need propagating from seed, others from root cuttings and some by division.

    It's an Eryngium. They can be divided to increase stock, or you can do root cuttings.

    They’ll self seed or you can collect then when ripe and sow your own.
