Varigated petunia

can anyone explain what's going on with this petunia please, is it varigated as a result of disease or do I have a new variety on my hands?!

Yes, it’s the variegated one,  if you didn’t sow those seeds then one probably got in the packet by accident.

This is the only variegated petunia I can find online though, mine is quite different

It looks the same but yours may have a problem, it may not like the compost it’s in. It could have dried out before in the mini heatwave we had.
