Lawn edging ideas

We live in a new build and are redesigning our garden. See sketch below.

Currently we have a small low level brick wall that we are going to take out and then extend our paving. We’re looking for some ideas for edging for the lawn - we have a 3 year old so looking for something that’s not going to be too dangerous - the lawn is a step up from the paving so trying to work out the best way to create a border/edge for the grass.

any ideas?

Thank you! ☺️

Just re use the bricks.  :)
Alternatively, use a strip of the same paving to create a nice deep [front to back] shallow step right round the grass boundary. The bricks would be the riser.

If you're having curves, you could use 3 or 4 inch diameter poles, cut to the height you need but with an extra foot or so. Dig down that foot in depth, and concrete them in. You may need more than that, depending on the eventual height you want above ground.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
