Weed or flowering plant?

Hi Folks

I have something growing in my garden which I didn't plant I think! It's next to stems of Doronicum.
The leaves are quite large and Hosta like and it has spikes with what may be flowers to come around the spike.
Can anyone help me identify it.

I think it's a Plantain.

Yes plantain. We used to feed the ripe seedheads to the family budgie waaaay back 😊
