Plant ID - Weed or not

KiliKili Posts: 1,079
Hi Guys, came across this pretty flowered plant at the back of my border. Never planted it so have no idea what it is.

Is it a known weed or something else?

Many Thanks for your help

Kili

It might be Pink Purslane, Claytonia Sibirica.

I have that in my garden - no idea where it came from, it just turned up and it has seeded itself everywhere. I don't mind as it is very pretty and any in the wrong place are easily removed. Plus point is that the leaves are edible and make a nice addition to salads.
