Any idea what is eating my unripe strawberries.  I had a lovely crop, netted them but sadly so thief has had most of my strawberries.  If they had been ripe I may have thought they were birds but they were all green.  Please help - this has happened to me for the past 3 years and I've got to the point of pulling all the plants up.+

Slugs get them here, but mice are also fond of strawbs.

Our cherries are green and all being eaten by blackbirds.
Just wish they would leave some for us to go red.
Had to stop growing strawberries outside as the badger just loves them. Grown now in the polytunnel and we had the best year for decades.

  • We do have grey squirrels in the garden - always digging the lawn up and emptying my bird feeder if they can manage it.  Maybe they are the thieves - the little blighters
