Blue flower identification please?

This flower has been coming up every summer for around three years ago I don't know whether it's a weed or something that I have planted, it doesn't seem to have much foliage. I think that it's probably a weed which I don't mind but if it's going to cause a problem by spreading and taking over I will pull it up. Thanks for any help you can give.

Thanks very much @Asarum I must have planted it after all and will leave it to live and thrive.  :)

I know it as Brodiaea laxa. I think it's probably an older name but there are suppliers still using it, so that might be what was on the packet when you planted them.

I'm not really a flower child more of a vegetable head, I tend to get cheap packs of bulbs or plants on offer stick them in and forget about them so it could have come from anywhere.
