Using a feeder
With a medium sized garden and
A lot of pots I’ve treated myself to a Birchmeier feeder to attach to my hose for feeding the plants. The problem is the instructions (and my lack of experience) mean I’m clueless how much feed/water to put in the unit. For instance if I was putting the feed into a watering can I’d need to put 1/2 cap
(About 20ml) in per 1litre. Indeed do I dilute the feed at all in the bottle?

0.2%, 0.5%, 1%, 2%
0.2% is equivalent to adding feed at the rate of 2ml/Litre
0.5% is equivalent to adding feed at the rate of 5ml/Litre (most fertilizers are diluted at this rate)
1.0% is equivalent to adding feed at the rate of 10ml/Litre
2.0% is equivalent to adding feed at the rate of 20ml/Litre
Tomorite for example is mixed at (approx) 5ml Tomorite to 1L water
So if you were using Tomorite, you'd fill the bottle on your sprayer with Tomorite and set the dial to 0.5%
