Plant ID that smells of liquorice?

Anyone know what this plant is who’s leaves smell of liquorice/aniseed please? Not in flower yet, but It’s about 3ft tall…

Some sort of Agastache perhaps.

Just from your title I was sure it would be Giant Hyssop. So I agree with the prior post, it looks like my Agastache which is Blackadder I think

@Busy-Lizzie I know what you mean I dithered as well! Saved a draft and reloaded to see if another answer popped up. I was fairly sure about agastache, but then again I've been wrong in the past, so in the end went for perhaps. Well with @Tack three is a crowd, this must be its wisdom.

Looks like a nice plant when in flower..



I was sat amongst it whilst having my lunch on a bench in Sheffield city centre today, I picked a leaf and noticed it's scent. The city centre has a lovely new extensive planted area as part of their Grey to Green project, which looks really nice..

Don't Nigel Dunnett and James Hitchmough hail from Sheffield? That city centre planting has their hallmarks all over it.

I know Nigel Dunnett was involved in the design, so I assume James was too.
