    According to my farmer brother, good rabbits and woodpigeons fetch more from the game dealer than pheasants nowadays. There must be someone near you with ferrets and nets @Jellyfire 😉

    We had an old boy and his ferrets over a couple of years ago @Dovefromabove, he got about 40 or so, which helped for about a month or two before they were back with a vengeance. The problem is we have fields backing onto us, and next door is a holiday home which only gets used once a year or so and is basically a rabbit paradise. 
    Current view from my office window. Even the dog has stopped bothering chasing them now :| ...
