Does this look like powdery mildew and does it indicate that these Aster don't like the conditions in the planter that I dumped them in at the end of 2020?
Thanks @Ladybird4. I hadn't read that source but a lot of that information tallies with elsewhere and also with what is going on in the PM planter!
I'm torn between moving them to a spot elsewhere in the garden and just binning them and moving on @BobTheGardener. They cost the princely sum of 25p each when I rescued them from the GC last October. This is no way to reward me for saving them
