What is this plant please

Grateful for any suggestions as to what this plant is, it first looked like a weed, but by the time the rain had stopped it had started to develop flower spikes.  Any information on final size , a name and any other helpful hints for its care please.

    I'm not sure, but it has the look of some sort of Clary Sage (salvia turkestanica) possibly

    Thanks for that info Pete.8 could be a possibility as we have some Salvias around the garden but completely different to this one.

    Perhaps it's a variant (let's hope - not one of concern :))

    Looks like a type of catmint (nepeta) to me.
