Unidentified shrub

in Plants
Hi everyone!
Does anyone have any ideas as to what this shrub is please? Someone suggested to me last year that it was a Weigela Candida, but I'm not convinced - purely because of the green flower head base on my one (sorry can't remember the official name for it ๐) The pictures on Google for weigela candida just show the flowers in full bloom with no green base!?!
It's just that I'd love to get another one for our front garden as it is a complete magnet for bees & butterflies!!
Also, do they do any other colours other than white too?
Many thanks
Carol

That is a Deutzia.
Many named ones..dwarf..tall, white or pink, soft lilac.
Love themย
That's great, thank you!
When we pop to our garden centre tomorrow, I'm definitely going to look out for one ๐
Have a lovely afternoon,
Carol
Maybe Deutzia pulchra would fit with your flowers...it has grey calyx

Wow! That looks amazing!!
Going on the number of bees we have on our small one even now, the size of yours must be like having your own bee hive in your garden ๐ Fantastic
Thank you
