Feeding potted lavender

Do you do it occasionally?

It's obvious it's known as a plant that doesn't need a lot of nutrients but does the 'no feeding' rule also apply for ones that stay in permanent pots?

Have never seen it made clear whenever the importance of feeding your container plants is mentioned.

I’ve never done it. I’ve been told they lose the potency of the scent if fed. Not sure if that’s true.

I just keep them moist when it’s hot.

I give mine in pots a seaweed drench once in Spring and again after they've flowered.
Try to ensure the pots don't dry out in hot weather.
