If you dead head it you might get a few flowers but nothing like the first flush.

Maybe if you have a few plants you could do the Chelsea chop on half of them and extend the season that way.
I have them too and just enjoy them foe what they are. That purple blue with the light behind it looks wonderful and the foliage is neat and quite textured, so a useful space filler.

I have the same one and have never managed to get a second flush.

So do I, it was here before me. Always just the one flush of flowers. I think it's G. x magnificum but I'm not certain so if anyone has any other ideas......

Thanks for all the replies , I’ll just enjoy and cut it down when it’s finished flowering and try the Chelsea chop next year

you get very few flowers but some years , the leaves turn red  which is quite attractive. I enjoy them while I can. A beautiful blue.

It is Geranium magnificum (possibly "Rosemoor"), which was particularly popular several decades ago.  It doesn't second flower.

I doubt that the Chelsea chop applies to geraniums in general.

Thanks again . I’ll not bother with the Chop then , I have it all over the place , but with some Roxanne to follow , they do benefit from cutting back and flower longer , I guess the main one is my fav due to sentimental attachment 🙂
