Could be a Salvia of some sort.
He calls her the chocolate girl
Cause he thinks she melts when he touches her
She knows she's the chocolate girl
Cause she's broken up and swallowed
And wrapped in bits of silver

Looks like it, but the leaves are more toothed than any of the ones that I grow. Hopefully someone will recognise it.

I thought it was nettle at first with the look of the leaves but they don't sting..

Have a look at Salvia microphylla x greggii 'Dancing Dolls'
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
