What is it and best position

I believe this is a bottle brush..it gets the evening sun...but is it in the wrong position..cambridge..england

Agree it's a Bottle-brush shrub, Callistemon Viminalis/Citrinus. They prefer a warm sunny southerly aspect if you can give it that. That means a minimum of 6 hours of sun in summer months.
