Identify?

Hi all,

Here I am again, asking for some help identifying another random pop up in my garden!

If anyone can help identifying the attached picture I would be very grateful.

Thanks all,
Aidan. :)

    Hows the midges? :)

    Hi Pete,

Thanks so much, it definitely looks like that… I do have that in the front border but where it’s come up is really far away, how very very odd!

As for the midgies 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ Does that answer your question! 😂

It seeds everywhere @aidanhoad, and can be quite invasive, so if you don't want more, you need to deadhead religiously  :)
I'm very fortunate - midges don't really bother me. They have to be really intense before they get me scratching.

I was just reading up on it and saw it said about it being invasive, I can’t say I’m terribly keen on it myself either 🤦‍♂️😂 my partner loves it… I shall have to secretly dead head it 😂

I’m just so surprised that it’s managed to get from the front of my house all the way round the back - nature amazes me!! ❤️

As for the midgies, I wish I could say the same… they seem to be drawn to me!

It's only the females that bite  ;)

Seed on the soles of your shoes when you're mowing the lawn front and back????

It's surprising how far they travel on the wind. In a previous house, I picked one out of a tiny bit of soil on the pavement along the road from me, even though there was none to be seen in any of the gardens anywhere nearby.
    You're in a very exposed location from what I remember @aidanhoad  :)

Both possibilities, just amazes me, I don’t like the plant but I’m going to leave it be as I’m impressed it’s made it there!! 😂
