With your chives, you may wish to let them self-seed everywhere. Otherwise, you could cut them right back after flowering and you'll get some lovely new growth ready for eating.
1. Looks like a dwarf Rhododendron...one more commonly called Azalea Would be happier in more shade/sheltered from hot sun. 2 Agree...Allium schoenoprasum,..common name chives.
The first photo looks like an Azalea shrub. The ones in your pot tend to stay quite small, so useful grown in a container. They need neutral to acidic soil, so ensure you mix in ericaceous compost with a loam-based compost. Keep somewhere semi-shaded and well watered through the summer months. Hopefully next spring you will see flowers.
