These have popped up in a container. Anyone know what they are? Some sort bulb with long leaves?

Do the leaves smell of anything? Onion?
What do the bulbs look like? Don't dig one up to find out!

Hi there, it looks like an allium, possibly Allium paradoxum, Few-flowered garlic - see what you think: https://www.wildfooduk.com/edible-wild-plants/few-flowered-garlic/
    Time to get cooking!

Oops - I've just read more details on the link I sent you - if this is Few-flowered garlic, you'll need to remove it asap as it is evidently very invasive and listed on schedule 9 of the Wildlife and Countryside act which means it is illegal to plant or help spread this plant in the countryside.  Hope this helps!

In a few days these buds will open.

How silly of me, I didn’t check the leaves if they were garlicky or oniony. I’ll do that tomorrow. I have a feeling I have another patch of it somewhere, can’t remember if in ground or not so will have to hunt it and mark it. This one is in a tub though.

Few flowered garlic - it couldn’t even get a decent name lol

I agree @Silver surfer the flower head and stem colour doesn’t look the same. I started reading up on alliums and I have the yellow moly one in the border. I know I planted that but have just found out it’s an edible too.

Good, I'm glad it's not an invasive intruder!
