Is this scabious?

I bought Scabiosa ochroleuca from a nursery earlier this year, and was given this plant.  I now suspect it is not the right plant, but am wondering what it is and if it is worth keeping? It has been growing well in full sun, but is showing no signs of flowering.

    Do you remember its flower? Was it Scabiosa 'Burgundy Bonnets'? They're quite hardy and can overwinter outside.

    Thank you! I only picked it up this spring (late April) and have not seen it flower yet.

    Doesn't look like my scabiosa foliage (butterfly blue).
