Foam in leaves

Hi there

I have a couple of Hebe’s in pots and I have just noticed a white foam on the tops of a number of leaves(pictures attached). Is it anything to worry about.

Cheers

Good old Cuckoo spit. Nothing to do with cuckoos and not spit either. Inside it you will find a tiny insect, a frog hopper. The foam is to protect it from predation and or drying out.
Wipe it off or spray it with water if it really annoys you.

It's likely to be a little insect called a froghopper. They don't really cause a problem.

Thanks for the advice Palustris. Just read online that they won’t damage the plant in that case I’ll leave them to it? Never heard of them before.
