Box plant went yellow on the outside

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me out please, my husband and I got 2 nice box plants last year but it seems since spring they are really struggling

I gave them some feed about a week ago and I water it everyday especially when it's warm

The inside of the tree is green but the outside is yellow

Any idea what else I can do to improve the tree please?

Should I trim off all the yellow?

    Hello Roxanne  :)
I'm sorry to say that l think they've probably had it, although l'm happy to be proved wrong.
My guess is that they have been under stress for sometime. We have had extremes of weather for the last 12 months or so, and it may be related to that.
Are they in a spot that gets strong sunshine, or chilly winds ?
  • Oh no, we barely had them a year, they are in a position where they hit by strong winds but not too much sunshine

It's very probably the wind that has done the damage in that case.
