What is this?

Hello, this is my first time posting on here.  There is a shrub in my garden that I've never seen before.  Must say that it's very pretty and I'd like to know how to look after it - although it seems to be thriving very well without any particular attention.

Looks like Weigela to me. I have a pale pink one, it is about 2m by 2m. I don't do anything to it apart from garden compost mulch. It is in full sun.

I think the variety is one called ‘Bristol Ruby’.
