Cala lily advice

I have these two pots of cala lilies given to me by my grandad last year. I am concerned they may need splitting and repotting as seem a lot in one pot but I'm so nervous to ruin them. Grandad past away in Jan to Covid so these really really mean a lot to me and I'd hate to kill them!
Any advice gratefully recieved
Thanks

Hi Claire. I have, last autumn, split my calla lilies. From one pot I now have 4, but only one is coming out, the other 3 pots have still to give signs of life. It has been extremely cold so maybe the bulbs died out. Or I have to wait another year for them to come back.
Given the personal value to you I would leave them where they are for the moment. Give them plenty of water and feed them about every two or three weeks. I would probably mulch them as well. I will let you know if things change :)

They do look like cannas to me though...keep them well watered in a nice sunny location and fed and you can split them at the end of the season. They're pretty tough plants as long as they don't get exposed to frost.
