Lilac????

What is this please? Lilac/syringa type flower but leaf is not normal lilac leaf. Thankyou

  • I'm so sorry Bob, but we do have buddlea too, it's not the right leaf or flower and yes, too early. It's very much a lilac type flower, slight scent but the leaves are elongated

    I have a Korean lilac that has leaves different to the normal lilac leaves, but I'm not sure they match yours

  • Thanjs Pete, it could be, flowers very similar and some of the leaves are elongated like mine
