    It is around 7-8 feet tall

    Take a look at the Siberian Pea Shrub/Tree, Caragana Arborescens.

    @Borderline Ah fantastic thank you! This definately looks like the one! It is growing in our neighbours garden and overhanging ours. However it may need a bit of a trim back as it's started to take up a little bit too much room for my liking :)
