Seedling id please

My guess is the sun coming out has awoken all the verbena seeds!! If I'm right, I have about a million of them!

    Yes, you are right, they are very determined!  You could pot up a few, grow on and plant elsewhere.  Avoid planting near blockpaving though in expectation of next year's seedlings!

    Pretty sure that's Verbena bonariensis - mine are just sprouting from the roots and look identical. :)

    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    Thanks guys. I had thought I wasn't getting any when I had a hunt earlier in the year so sowed a few seeds indoors. Now I have some good sized ones in pots and too many to count in the ground 😀

    @B3 I had expected to find some babies but thought they'd appear earlier than they did. I love them so don't mind them being there........ Just maybe not as many as there are!!

    Easy enough to jiggle out now you're sure what they look like.
