Is this enough sweet peas for this pot?

Wondered if this is enough for a pot this size? Planted just blue velvet and swan lake hoping to get a nice blue/white display. Moved them from their smaller pots and kept them all together rather than splitting. All together about 18 plants.

18 is a lot to keep healthy in that pot.
Has the pot got decent depth too? It looks quite shallow, but it may just be the angle of the pic.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • @Fairygirl Sorry, didn't realise how bad that photo was - it's a pretty deep pot, about 40-50cm. My husband nearly persuaded me to put 36 plants in so glad I checked here first 😂

As long as you can ensure plenty of food and water for them, they should be ok. The depth is good.   :)
Ideally, some well rotted manure, or good soil, is best in the base before adding compost. It gives them a bit more insurance against drying out quickly. Manure is excellent because it offers extra nourishment. They're greedy plants.
As they grow, the foliage obscures the soil, so watering is particularly important.
Even here, pots can dry out quite readily, and I water almost daily once they're growing away. I also add some extra compost as the season goes on and the level settles  :)
