Not sure if it's a Trachelospermum Jasminoides, Star Jasmine or Leucothoe shrub.

I can see slight serrated edge, so thinking it's more likely a Leucothoe shrub. 

If Star Jasmine, they need a nice sunny fence or wall to grow up as it is a climber. Leucothoe need neutral to acidic soil. They apparently can grow well in sun or shade.
