Plant ID, please

Hi all, I have this shrub/tree like plant just about to burst into flower in my garden and I've always wondered what it was. Can anyone help?

Looks like my Pyracantha, but hard to tell.

I think this could be it, thank you @KeenOnGreen. The leaves certainly check out.

Does it have sharp nasty thorns?

Hi @Silver surfer, yes there are spikes on it. Sorry about the quality of the pictures, it's difficult to get it right at the moment because of where the plant is and the position of the sun.
