Marsh marigold

The marsh marigolds in my pond have finished flowering now - should I cut it all back to the base or just remove the flower stems?

    You can just leave it or remove spent heads. It can often flower again.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Ok, thanks. Do I just remove the heads or the whole flowered stem?

    I don't really bother, but it would look better to take the stem off rather than leaving it sticking up. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    We don't bother either and leave the stems.
