1, one of the Crateagus, but very far away. Close up of flowers and foliage would be useful.
2. hairy bittercress. ( weed, seeds by the million, remove asap )

1. Probably Crataegus laevigata Pauls Scarlet...... a red flowered form of Hawthorn.

If you are looking for a Hawthorn for your garden, I can recommend Crimson Cloud. Ours is in bloom at the moment, it is stunning.

Thanks folks , of course its a hawthorn , silly me ,I forget there are more than the white flowered ones, I think its too late about the hairy bittercress, i just keep pulling it up whenever I see any, although it is tiny and doesnt seem to affect anything else from growing.KeenOnGreen that Hawthorn is beautiful.May have to get myself one of those
