Woolmans

Been waiting since end of March for an order of ‘potted perennials’ to come in. Advised via email in the couple days that they could arrive end of June due to ‘Demand for garden ready plants has been greater than ever before’.
In the meantime, all the while, I’m
inundated with ads from them.

This one was funny,
‘ Have you spotted a few gaps in your herbaceous border?

Arguably there's always room to squeeze in another wonderful perennial, and we have some great suggestions...’

Yes Woolmans, I do have some gaps, I think you know why!

Ah well what can you do.

You'd think the incessant advertising is probably making their availability even worse...and surely if any new customers get awful service they'll never be back.

Everyone is finding this year hard and many companies are behind or slow. Woolmans are one of the best companies around, in my opinion. As frustrating as it is, between Brexit law changes, Covid and this year's mad weather in certain areas, it's been tough.

In terms of ads, if they are coming to you via email, click 'turn off subscription' at the bottom of the email. If coming by post, return seed catalogue with a note to remove you from their listings. Since the recent GDPR changes in the laws around holding data, companies are much better about removing you from listings and sending out rubbish you don't want. If ads are coming via the internet browser, use free and safe apps Ghostery and Adblocker.
