Can anything be done for my magnolias?

We bought these recently. The new leaves came out and then we had some nasty frosts. Now they’re just sticks. What do you think the chances of them coming back are? They haven’t done anything for a couple of weeks.

Provided they are damp in the pots, I would give them some time. I thought I had lost my Persicaria Red Dragon that Nutcutlet gave me, but it has grown new leaves since. The frost reduced it to a mush.

Thanks Fidgetbones. I’m in no hurry to get rid of them. I’ll give them a chance yet.
