Dahlia ID please - height?

I picked up this cream coloured dahlia from the GC sale corner.

If it is already flowering at this height, does that mean it has reached its maximum height? I want to know how tall it will grow so I know where in the garden to plant it.

can anyone identify what variety of dahlia this is?

There is one called "Vanilla" which looks similar and grows to around 90cm, but l couldn't say that it's definitely that one.

Sometimes potted plants have been treated with a hormone to make them flower quickly. They often do it with potted Chrysanths. When you put them in the garden and the hormone wears off, they grow a lot bigger, but flower later.

That’s interesting. So I guess I may find it stops flowers and puts on growth once planted. I thought dahlias just continued to flower once you deadhead them. We shall see!
